This avoids minor problems when RAPS is installed in a directory other than "C:\RAPS" and/or batch files are moved to other directories. Editor - Modified the appearance of the main screen (in Task Bar mode) if called from the RAPS Model. - Fixed bug that didn't close the profile edit screen properly if the window close button was used rather the pressing the "Enter" key or a right-button click. - Fixed bug in manual edit of profile cells that caused programme to hang if no data were entered. - Bug fix in livestock Standard File edit save routine (nothing to do with the livestock database editor). - Added Base Variable file selection list option on forage database creation screen. - Fixed intermittent error relating to raps.ini file not found if running RAPS Model from RAPS Editor. - Fixed minor long file name display problem on forage and livestock database edit screens. Model - Activated file desciption when selecting a batch file. - Revised results screen graphics and added pie charts of utilisation and forage types. - Added graphical display of results when processing sequential batch files (included mean and 5yr moving average). - Changed utilisation information in text output to prevent mis-interpretation. Editor - Re-enabled "drawing" of profile values by dragging mouse. - Modified depreciation profile edit screen to enable changing of profile name. Printing dialog improved and buttons for printing the forage and livestock database edit screens have been implemented. 8/2/98 ------- Revised and simplified the installation and file update procedures. Updated the RAPS User Guidelines and the About screen. Improved the printer control/setup routines. A number of minor bug fixes. #/8/97 -------- Improvements Can now run RAPS Editor from RAPS Model, and visa versa, via GENERAL menu. Results screen now includes a livestock numbers profile. Fixes: Overflow error when creating a GIS linkage file (.CSV) when LU has zero utilisation. Corrected non-operative insert record function on livestock edit screen. Corrected incorrect month format when generating profile files (.PRO) found under the RAPS Editor: SPECIAL menu. 4/06/97 -------- The DOS versions of RAPS are no longer needed therefore they may be deleted. Progress: Completed translation of remaining commonly used procedures from the DOS versions and corrected a previous translation error in a little-used RAPS Editor option. Improved the function of parts of RAPS and wrote a user guide line. Tested RAPS. The guideline is viewed by executing the RAPSUSER.EXE programme or by choosing appropriate menu option under GENERAL. The RAPSUSER.EXE programme is a windows programme and therefore may be executed (run) via the File/Run Windows 3.1 menu option or by installing the program and clicking the icon. Changes: Made a significant modification to the routines that adjust livestock energy requirement according to forage quality. The changes are an evolutionary step and the output of the model in terms of carrying capacity may now differ slightly compared to the output from previous versions. The new output is considered more accurate and realistic. To accomodate future plans,revised the format of forage databases.
